A regular reader, Legend, submitted this awesome I SEE PENIS entry:
"A friend invited me to his new apartment in Upper Manhattan. In order to get there, you take the A train to 'Dyckman' and go one block above this cross street."
At first, I thought the photo might be a doctored one, but I looked it up on Google Maps and the intersection actually does exist in NYC. As Colby mentions, it is in upper Manhattan above Harlem and there is a Dyckman stop on the subway in the area, too. The streets were named after local landowners, and the intersection in of the two is a frequently-photographed spectacle. I guess that trumps the "Cockeysville" exit I see off Hwy 83 here in Baltimore.
InWOOD is a truly a beautiful place
ReplyDeleteha. that made me giggle too.

ReplyDeleteIt totally blanked on me that the neighborhood is known as "Inwood".
ReplyDeleteHa, I'm funnier than I thought!
