ARTISTS I LIKE: CALDER SINGER

Named for the famous American sculptor, my friend Calder has been growing by leaps and bounds in his performance and art practice. He's a NYC native and an Oberlin Conservatory student and a "friend of Colby" for a couple of years now. I'm really liking a lot of the work he's been producing and the associations he's been making. If you live in NYC, you've probably seen him sneaking in to clubs in amazing outfits or walking around the streets of lower Manhattan in costumes that shock and inspire. On top of being completely adorable, he's a very talented musician and artist with the confidence of someone 15 years his senior. You'll be seeing more from him, I'm sure. But for now, enjoy the vulnerability!
